Tea Blending and Tasting Classes, what to expect:
Our traditional tasting session will teach you all about different teas & blending herbs, how they are made, best enjoyed & their potential health benefits.
Starting the evening with a warm welcome & a tea-based cocktail or mocktail, you’ll then get the chance to try an exciting selection of tea blends as you learn about the art of tea blending.  Later in the evening, our expert Tea Mixologists will help you create three tea blends of your own to take home with you - each designed, named & packed by your very own hands!
What’s more, you’ll get 10% off everything in store all evening, so if you find some new faves you can save whilst topping up your tea cupboard.
Every attendee gets a goody bag to take home that contains some samples of our favourite tea blends & three empty 20g pouches for you to fill with your tea blends, all inside one of our cotton totes.
Who can attend?
Hosted in our London stores, come along alone, with a loved one or in a group…all are welcome! A perfect gift for your tea-loving friends, as corporate entertainment, with your team at work, or even as a unique hen party!
Please also note that you must be over 18 to attend the class alone, or be over 14 if accompanied by an adult.
When?
We run our London workshops most Friday nights and Sunday evenings.
Something Extra Special:
If you're celebrating something special or giving a gift experience, why not select one of our wonderful gifting upgrades? A deluxe goodie bag includes all of the items in our complimentary goodie bag plus a copy of our brand new tea recipe book, Brew, Bake, Sip & Savour along with a 20g pouch of our london local store blends.
Or, add a gift voucher for them to spend on the night!
Booking & Changing Dates
Please Note:
Once booked you will receive an email confirmation & will not receive a ticket through the post.
Due to the popularity of our workshops & the fact they sell out, any changes to your booking must be made 14 days before the workshop date.
Unfortunately, if you don’t show up to your workshop & fail to contact us in the 14 days before, we will be unable to re-book you for another date & you will lose your workshop space & your pennies! (which we really don’t want!).
Please note: All London venues are wheelchair accessible on the shop floor. However, workshops are sometimes held in the basement at London Angel. If customers in wheelchairs are attending a workshop, please contact in advance so we can make your event as smooth as possible.

  • 5/5 from Nikita Leca, attended Sep 2026: We had a brilliant evening learning about all sorts of different tea blends as well as tasting and making our own! The instructors were so helpful and knowledgeable and clearly have a lot of passion for what they do which is lovely to see xxx
  • 5/5 from Sam Holmes, attended Jul 2026: Brilliant course, great teachers, a wonderful evening - highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Matteo de Giovanetti, attended Jun 2026: Amazing experience! Misha and Hannah were absolutely wonderful. The experience was the right mix between being educational and hands-on. We ended up creating 3 new blends each to take home. Incredible value for money and would absolutely recommend.
  • 5/5 from Melanie Vock, attended Mar 2026: Amazing workshop - learned so much about tea and how to proberly brew it! Wonderful atmosphere and the nicest staff
  • 4/5 from Linda Bach Aislev, attended Sep 2025: Too many people in the room, it became too crowded when we were mixing tea But very nice staff
  • 5/5 from Lucy Andrews, attended Jul 2025: I loved this workshop! I booked this as a non tea drinker becuase I love the process of tea and going to Bird and Blend, but prior to this workshop I could not find a tea I enjoyed. This class gave a great range of teas and matchas that I wouldn't have tried otherwise. After trying all the different bases we made a group blend and our own blends which was really fun! I believe you get a lot more than what you pay for and if you have a free night in London I could not recomend this class enough!
  • 1/5 from Malak Kawan, attended Jun 2025: The class was cancelled on the same day with only a last-minute message a few hours before. No real explanation. When we reached out, the organiser was slow to respond and didn’t seem interested in helping. There was no offer to refund, no effort to contact ClassBento on our behalf. Just a lazy "we cancelled" as if that was enough, while our £90 disappeared. I had to track down ClassBento myself, which wasn’t easy, but thankfully they processed the refund. Still, it should never be this hard to get your money back when a class is cancelled. Poor communication, zero accountability. I wouldn’t NEVER book with them again.

The whole experience was really wholesome and they both welcomed everyone's questions. We got to try 10 different types of tea plus 2 types of matcha, with lots of information about all of them. Couldn't recommend it more, such a lovely way to spend a few hours.

When we got there it truly exceeded my expectations and my friend had a great time. Anna led the session really well. She gave an interesting session about the history of tea and how it's made. You could see she had really good knowledge. The session was also interactive with ice breakers and tea tasting which was so much fun. It was definitely great value for money.
  • 5/5 from Terry Taylor, attended Mar 2024: This class was given as a Christmas gift. My husband and I attended Bird and Blend in Sunday 17th March. What an enjoyable morning we had. Learnt a lot about tea and samples a lot too and you don’t have to be a tea buff to enjoy the day. Both girls were very welcoming and knowledgeable and made the whole thing fun too. Looking forward to trying out our own tea blend made on the day. Loved the goody bag, the whole thing, I would say is great value for money. Highly recommended.
