You'll then put your skills to work by creating a delicious, airy focaccia topped with rosemary and salt and a fantastic traybake pizza. You'll master the techniques of stretching, shaping, and flavouring these Italian staples, all using simple commercial yeast – no sourdough starter needed! Finally, you'll learn to expertly fill and fold your own rich, savoury calzone.
During this Focaccia, Pizza, and Calzone baking class, you will:
  • Learn to select the right ingredients for the best result, from the ideal flour to the most flavoursome tomatoes.
  • Understand hydration ratios and how they affect dough behaviour.
  • Master handling high-hydration doughs.

Minimum age:
This class requires a minimum age of 14 years old for attendance. Exceptions to this age requirement must be agreed in advance. However, everyone in the kitchen needs to have their own individual paid spot regardless of age.
