Little Pressed Flower

Hello! I’m Ashton, a botanical preservation artist from Cheshire in the UK.
After having my little boy in 2018, I left a 9 Year Career in teaching, seeking greater flexibility for new family life. At first I worked for my husband’s business in watch repair, but watches just wasn’t ‘my thing’ and I longed to be more creative.
Just as the Pandemic was coming to the forefront of everyone’s minds, I established Little Pressed Flower in February 2020, and we entered Lockdown here in the UK. The business was a welcome distraction from the Pandemic, but it also kept me sane being isolated with a toddler at home.
Little Pressed Flower has blossomed into much more than I ever anticipated; with a loyal customer base, a huge social media following, an ambassadorship alongside working with other small businesses, and featuring in Laura Ashley’s ‘At the Kitchen Table’ series. There’s been many milestones over the years and I have my family, friends and followers to thank for that.
