Sip & Cake is exactly what it sounds like – and yes, you get to eat your artwork at the end.Your blank canvas arrives presented on a food-safe artist's palette, complete with wells of buttercream "paint" in a range of colours, brushes, and a small palette knife. An expert instructor will guide you through the strokes, swirls, and palette-knife techniques that bring a cake to life, and an inspiration image is provided to get you started – though where you take it from there is entirely up to you. No experience needed, just a willingness to have fun with it.A complimentary drink is included from the off, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, so whether you're reaching for fizz or a fruity mocktail, you'll have something to sip while you create.Every Good Cake Day experience is rooted in the BLUSH philosophy – the belief that everyone is beautiful, loved, unique, special, and human – and the afternoon reflects that from the very first moment. Before the painting begins, you'll take part in a guided mindfulness activity: a quiet few minutes to write a letter to your future self, sealed up and posted back to you three months later. The Arding Rooms sits within the lovingly restored Arding & Hobbs building at Clapham Junction – a landmark former department store where Arts and Crafts-inspired interiors meet original preserved features, including a magnificent domed stained glass window. You'll be painting your cake in a space that's a work of art in its own right, just eight minutes by train from Victoria or Waterloo.Here's how the afternoon unfolds:

• 2:00–2:15pm – Arrival, welcome drinks, and meeting your fellow artists
• 2:15–2:30pm – Guided mindful letter writing to your future self
• 2:30–4:15pm – Painting your cake, with expert guidance throughout
• 4:15–4:30pm – Group photos, boxing up your masterpiece, and farewells
