Learn how to dye at home with natural colour in this 4-week journey, a shared space to discover the basic steps of natural dyeing so you can bring the practice into your own kitchen.
You'll practise extracting colour from plants, along with key principles such as scouring and mordanting to give you stronger, longer-lasting results. By the end, you'll go home with the confidence to try natural dyeing at home using plant dyes and everyday products found in your kitchen.
  • Week 1 – Monday 6th July 2026 – Preparing your fibre and learning the basics
  • Week 2 – Monday 13th July 2026 – Foraging walk and extracting dye from plants using various methods
  • Week 3 – Monday 20th July 2026 – Dyeing your fibre and revealing the colour
  • Week 4 – Monday 27th July 2026 – Extending the colour possibilities using household products
