Recent reviews of Japanese Tempura Cooking Class: Crispy Perfection

  • 3/5 from Stella, attended Aug 2026: It was alright. Wish there was more information about the tempura batter and how different ingredients affect the end result. Also I was hoping for more green veggies rather than the 2 types of mushrooms.
  • 5/5 from Samuel Tietjen, attended Sep 2025: Simon really helped make this simple and easy to follow. So now I’ll be able to replicate in the future very organized and a fun tempura class.
  • 5/5 from Brendon, attended Mar 2024: The experience was amazing Our teacher Simon was really good and extremely personable. We had a good old laugh but also learn alot about the history of tempura. The food we made was delicious and we enjoyed learning together and trying a new experience. It was our 2nd date - and memorable one We both enjoyed the tasting - the cup of tea throughout was a nice touch. We bought some yummy Kimchee aswell. The venue was nice and intimate and we was lucky enough to have Simon to ourselves which my date said was extremely romantic.
  • 5/5 from Janet Brown, attended Jul 2023: It is a great cooking class. We learnt many different ways to make batter and used different ingredients. They are all delicious. Simon also let us taste some their homemade pickles. They are delicious too. We will definitely back to have more classes.
