Really appreciated the bag they give us at the end to bring the terranium back home as well as the bottle of water to drink whilst there. Would deffinitely recommend.

Isaac was a fantastic teacher, the class was so well run from the intro and history of terrariums to the building itself and even the care instructions afterwards. There were optional extras eg figurines, quartz and lights but these were not pushed or forced on you at all and we loved choosing rocks and figures for our terrariums. Highly recommend!

Class started off with some understanding of terrariums and then it was straight into building. The trainer was friendly and patient which is always great and broke it down into steps to make it easier to follow. The "ingredients" were plentiful so no scrimping on anything you wanted plus the option to pay a little more for cute figurines or quartz crystals for inside. Had a lovely time and would definitely recommend. I brought my own mini gravestones to make a spooky cemetery one.

The workshop was really hands-on, and the teacher was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. It was great that everything was provided, and the atmosphere was so friendly.

It's so satisfying to look at my little glass garden and know I made it myself. Plus, it's been three weeks and I haven't killed it yet - that's a record for me! Definitely worth trying, even if you don't have a green thumb.

• 5/5 from Rachel, attended Mar 2023: I bought the DIY Terrarium Workshop as a Christmas gift for my husband and we went in January. It was so fun and amazing to do! Theres free parking outside the studio, with the workshop based upstairs in a communal area. Katie led us through a brief history of the terrarium, their business and demonstrated how to make one before setting us off to do it ourselves. If you arrive early, you have the opportunity to go down to their warehouse and choose what plants you would like in your terrarium. There are so many choices! Otherwise, they can pick the plants for you. You have all the tools and kit you need. I bought the Big Balloon kit for my husband which required more soil than the smaller ones, and they were able to top-up anything else you needed (i.e get us more soil, provide bigger looking rocks etc). Its great building it with other people in the workshop too, not difficult to do and anyone can build one. Especially as you have Katie there as a guide which was extremely helpful. At the end Katie runs through how to care and maintain your terrarium and provides a sheet with this information on (in case you forget!). Overall a great experience and I would 100% recommend the workshop to other people who would want to build their own!
