Hi, my name is Alice and I started my floristry journey in April 2017, learning on the job from my lovely mentor. After 6 years in the industry, in April 2023, I took the leap to start my own business and officially opened Bluebell & Flo, naming the business after my blue VW beetle (my dream car which became a reality) "Bluebell" and my Nan, Florence "Flo", who loved to play and create with flowers.Together, with my brilliant Mum, we get the pleasure of working on weddings, events, every day gifts, photoshoots including production design and now workshops! I have had the chance to teach a handful of brilliant creatives along the way and loved sharing my love of flowers with likeminded people, so we thought we’d expand to larger groups. From seasonal handtied bouquet making and vase arranging to wreath making and DIY resins, we use our knowledge of the meanings and symbolisms of flowers to bring creative floral workshops with a twist. And don’t worry about any waste! We are very passionate about sustainability and press or dry any and all “leftover” flowers to be made into dried flower bouquets or jewellery/houseware with our floral resin range. What we can’t salvage, we recycle and compost, so you can create to your hearts content!
