Join us for a creative exploration of Sanderstead village. Meet at The Hive, stroll through the village capturing historic landmarks, scenic green spaces, and hidden gems with pen and paper. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, our relaxed and friendly tour will inspire you to see Sanderstead in a whole new way. Returning to The Hive at the end of the sketch walk, you will be greeted with tea, coffee, and cake and time to review your work and chat to the tutor and other guests.

Led by Lis Watkins from Line and Wash, this guided sketch walk is the perfect way to slow down, observe, and create. Book your spot now and experience Sanderstead like never before!

Two friends who met at the school gates to their sons's primary school and bonded over inset days and coffee. We open The Hive in July 2024. From different worlds, Felicity has a background in craft and spent the last 17 years designing and developing the Christmas bear for Harrods, Jo has spent her career in hospitality and events, making things happen! We have come together to create a Sanctuary in Sanderstead.

We both grew up here in Sanderstead, so know how special this community is. We wanted to open somewhere for people to enjoy, relax and create in an ever busy world. We snapped up the opportunity to open a studio in a converted bus shelter! Join us for one of our many workshops, craft, connect, create.

We also like to venture outside our little studio and get on the road! If you have a request for a workshop in a venue of your choosing then please give us a shout. We have facilitated workshops for corporate away days and charity team days and would love to help your team days be a memorable event!
