Embroidery Style Cake Decorating Workshop

Join us for a unique cake decorating workshop in Falmouth!

2 hours

Class size 1 to 10 (public classes), 5 to 15
£37 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Come decorate your very own mini cake in a beaded embroidery style in Falmouth! Our bento workshop host, Beth, will be providing us with some naked mini cakes, and we'll set you up with some tools and a ton of sprinkles.
You don't need any cake decorating experience to join -- you'll be guided every step of the way in a relaxed and supportive environment!
We'll have some pre-thought-out designs for you just in case you don't want to think of your own design, and we'll also have a Pinterest board available for you for inspiration too.
You'll do a quick sketch of your design, and then you'll use the sprinkles to embroider your design onto your cake! The sprinkles give a really cool effect, making your cake look like it's been beaded. You'll take away your delicious and expertly decorated cake home with you to enjoy!
Good to know: We can offer vegan or gluten-free cakes, but if you have any dietary restrictions, please contact us prior to booking your ticket so we can chat about your options!
What you'll get

female Women-owned

Maya's is an independent business, solely owned and operated by Maya; a 27 year old woman from Canada. In May of 2024, Maya did her first craft market in Truro selling her hand printed artwork. She quickly realised there was a huge desire to learn her craft (and others!)
49 Killigrew St became the permanent space for Maya's artworks and ideas in November of 2024, and since then we've been able to offer over 20 different workshops including junk journaling sessions, bento cake decorating, crochet, silver jewellery making, and more.
