Did lots of hands-on practical projects to get used to various options and techniques. Jenny demonstrated the different types of cardstock and vinyls that can be used and advised what wouldn’t work so well in the machine. All in all I was very impressed with her manner and enthusiasm for the Cricut maker 4 and how my hobbies would be enhanced by it. I purchased the maker 4

The venue is good although access to Wi-Fi was a bit of an issue that we managed to overcome. I came away feeling far more positive about using design space and having learnt so much more than I thought I would. Would definitely go again, so useful! Thank you Penny!

There was a piece missing from the cricut machine. I know it’s only 16 for the hour but a LOT of the time was spent trying to make everything work. I did learn a couple of things but over all I think you can do better Hobbycraft.

Penny was a knowledgeable and patient tutor. She answered all my questions and gave very practical advice. I was particularly concerned about using the app and after Penny's tutorial I felt confident I would be able to get the most out of it.

She helped me create my own bag, learn the machine and the different materials. The lady was so helpful with everything and it’s soo worth doing this before buying a machine or if your stuck with something.

Was hoping for a hands on workshop, but was all done through demonstration. Please note that if you have mobility issues the workshop is at a standing desk but only regular a chair available. This made it hard to see the tablet.

However, we were let down by the technology. I was unable to connect to the internet in store and so couldn't show the actual problem on my laptop. The screen on the store tablet was a touch screen and so a problem I'm having with view was easy to do on there but I'm still unable to do it on my non touch screen laptop. Also the program layout was different so I am still searching for some instructions that were pointed out. The machine would not connect so I didn't get to see the final outcome cut out. I think a dedicated wired internet link is needed for the Cricut table.

Penny was patient and talked through all the things I wanted to know, and made me have a go so I got used to using a cricut machine! The demonstration she did was very clear and she even got me to have a good which was great. As a result I purchased the circut maker 3 machine. Would definitely recommend having a one to one with penny.
