If you've ever wanted to learn how to make your own clothes, come along to this dressmaking course in Worcester Park and learn how to sew a gorgeous skirt to fit you perfectly.Making your own clothes is a fun, useful and satisfying skill to learn, and this course will give you the confidence you need to begin your dressmaking journey. Learning under the wing of a talented crafter, you'll pick up all sorts of nifty skills that'll help you along the way.During the first week, you will learn all about using and altering commercial patterns to fit your own body shape, as well as how to cut fabric effectively for the best results. The skirt will be sewn over the next two sessions where your teacher will ensure you become confident in a variety of dressmaking skills including inserting zips, fitting, hemming and attaching a waistband.Don't worry if you've never tried a project like this before, as you'll have the full support of your teacher throughout, who'll be on hand throughout the course with tips, advice and a helping hand wherever needed.
