What you'll do
In this very hands-on class, we will share our favourite recipes from our mother’s restaurant that were always a hit with everyone who came through the door. These are the perfect recipes for entertaining loved ones, and you will leave the class having mastered the following dishes:
- Chicken Scaloppine al Limone with Shallot Venere Black Rice
- Crispy Sea Bass Fillets with a Roasted Cherry Tomato, Taggiasca Olive and White Wine Sauce with Crispy Rosemary Potatoes
- Aubergine Parmigiana with Smoked Mozzarella
- Spring Panzanella Salad
- Mediterranean Vegetables with a Salsa Verde

I was looking for an experience that would teach me how to be a better host and cook when entertaining and I landed the right class which did exactly that. What I loved about this school is their quality. We got to cook with the best ingredients available (ones that you cannot find in supermarkets which made this so much more special and interesting) I took heaps of pictures and paid careful attention where to get these ingredients from which has now added another level of value to me. The space itself is so beautiful. There is a rustic country charm in outdoor garden area which adds to the magic and the kitchen is beautiful and feels homely, warm and welcoming. The crockery and cutlery and so many other details like the flower arrangements all over the kitchen were truly stunning and inspiring. Probably the best part of all was that the team who were exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable and just really nice friendly people, who took as much time as I needed to fully grasp each recipe. I loved this and they helped me understand why things were done in a particaulr way rather than just being told to do it that way. Very useful and information I will be sharing too with my guests when I host a party. I loved this class and will definitely be visiting again for other classes they offer!
Your teacher
Enrica Rocca is a family run cooking school and event space in Notting Hill and Venice. The Rocca family opened the London school in 2002 in what was once their family home, sharing their love for Italian hospitality and food. This hidden gem in West London is run by Rocca sisters, Charlotte and Claire, who share their skills in Mediterranean home cooking at its best whilst Venice is run by mamma Enrica.The Cooking School is a space to rediscover the simple pleasures of connecting with people, channeling your creative energy, and of course enjoying fantastic italian food and wine.
