  • 5/5 from Victoria Lovelock, attended Jun 2026: Roli is a fantastic teacher with a lovely aura, it was such a pleasure to take this class. He is so patient and calm with instructions, very knowledgeable about his craft. Had a lovely time and would definitely do another session to learn different carvings. Great music taste too!
  • 5/5 from Helen Kennett, attended Feb 2026: Roli was light and supervisory with his instruction and understood what I could and couldn't do and where I needed help but allowed me space to get on and do it.
  • 5/5 from Elizabeth Peters, attended Feb 2026: It was such a charming day! Ruli was a geat teacher, supportive but still gave space to let us figure it out. For a first time woodworking I wasn't nervous or otherwise and I am sure that was thanks to the lovely space Ruli had and made for us. I got this as a give for me and my partner and it did more than fit the bill, it was 10/10 :)
  • 5/5 from Rebecca Anne Lees, attended Jul 2025: Amazing! Such a lovely studio and Roli is the most chilled and helpful instructor. We really enjoyed it, can’t recommend him enough!!
  • 5/5 from Eden Lu, attended Jul 2025: The wood carving workshop was so fun and highly recommended! Roly was such a great and supportive instructor, and he helped us create two beautiful spoons!"
  • 5/5 from Jonathan Henman, attended Jan 2025: I recently had the pleasure of trying my hand at spoon carving on a workshop with Roli. Overall it was a great experience. The tools and wood were provided, along with Roli's detailed knowledge. It was a far more relaxing experience than I was anticipating but the most rewarding part is that I'm left with a hand-carved spoon that's looks fantastic and that I'll actually use. If like me you don't get to be that creative in your day to day, I would highly recommend this workshop!
