Spend three creative hours turning your own design into a custom 40 × 40 cm tufted rug at Cheeky Studio, our premium tufting studio in Hackney Wick, East London.This workshop is designed for complete beginners, but the result is made to feel polished, personal and worth keeping. You do not need any previous tufting experience or drawing skills. Send us your design before the class and we’ll prepare it on your canvas in advance, so you can arrive, choose your colours and start tufting with confidence.To make the experience even more relaxed, each guest will also receive one complimentary Sonic Tonics drink to enjoy during the workshop. Pick a flavour, settle in, sip while you tuft, and enjoy a playful creative session in our cosy London studio.If your design needs adjusting for the best tufting result, our team can guide you before the session. Clear shapes, bold lines and thoughtful colour choices usually work best, and we’ll help make your idea more suitable for rug making where needed.During the workshop, our team stays close from start to finish. We do not just give you a quick demo and leave you to figure it out alone. We help with technique, rethreading, colour changes, tricky areas and anything else you need along the way.You’ll use professional tufting equipment, including cut-pile and loop-pile tufting tools depending on your design, and choose from over 115 colours of cheekyarn, our own GRS-certified yarn made from 100% recycled material.Once the tufting is done, we take care of the final trimming, glueing, backing and shaping. That professional finishing process is what helps your piece feel less like a practice project and more like an actual rug you’ll want to display at home.And if you do not finish every part during the session, don’t worry.
