Intro to Caffenol - Eco Darkroom Photography Workshop

Join this one-day Caffenol workshop in Camden with photographic artist Catriona Grey, and discover how to turn everyday coffee into a fully-fledged photographic developer. Working in a small group, you'll learn how to mix up Caffenol from easy-to-obtain ingredients and use it throughout your darkroom session – a brilliant way to cut down on harmful waste while you print.You'll be based in a spacious, well-equipped darkroom, with access to enlargers, chemicals and photographic paper throughout the day. Before you arrive, simply shoot one roll of 35mm black and white film (Ilford HP5 400, Kodak Tmax 400 or Fomapan 400 are all great choices) ready to develop on the day.

• Develop your film in the darkroom using Caffenol
• Make a contact sheet from your film, printed using Caffenol
• Print in the darkroom – from negatives and photograms – using Caffenol, producing rich, warm prints with a lovely toned quality
