Asha is a brilliant and lovely teacher. I came with zero knowledge and skill on calligraphy, yet Asha has set us on a path to success! Couldn't recommend it highly!!!

Asha was lovely and the class went at just the right pace for us as beginners. Not too much and not too little. We are very excited to have left the class with some ink and a nib which makes it easy to keep going with what we learned today. The class is great value for money and is worth investing in the face to face time with a teacher rather than trying to learn with an online teacher. Thank you Asha, we had a fab day with you!

All materials required for the class were provided by her and it was very well constructed, she provided personal attention to us all ensuring we picked up the lessons quite well. I would definitely recommend beginners to try out this class :) Thanks Asha, good luck!
• 5/5 from Emma J Little, attended Jan 2024: My daughter is getting married later this year, so I decided to sign up to a beginner's calligraphy class so that I can write place names/invitations etc. I took another daughter along and we had no idea what to expect - we were both complete beginners and neither of us have any artistic skills whatsoever! We were in a small group of six people and were immediately put at our ease by our lovely teacher Asha. She had provided us with all the basic materials we need to get started, all of which we were able to take home with us. Asha is a brilliant teacher and the time flew by. We came away with the basics of this new skill - much practice is needed but Asha has set us on a path to success! It is definitely good value for money and I can't recommend it highly enough.

The teacher was really kind and helpful.The gifts was a really nice plus. I used them now in my journaling and finally I am not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.

I took it about six weeks ago and have been practicing on my own since then, and I can now comfortably address envelopes, write cards, etc in beautiful calligraphy!

She explained the basics of modern calligraphy, provided insight into best practices and how to continue forward in our learning. The aides provided will be very useful going forward and I would definitely take another class with her. The class was small and well planned.

Asha is a very friendly and patient teacher with lots of good advice for starting out in calligraphy. The set up was lovely and the small group size made it feel very personal. The starter set is so helpful and has really encouraged me to continue practising at home. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants a calm and relaxing intro to modern calligraphy. Thanks Asha!

I would recommend this workshop to anyone, from someone who is a complete beginner or someone who needed some tips and tricks to further develop!
