It’s a fantastic course with a beautiful end result. The technique involves many steps, so there is a lot of information to absorb, but everything is explained clearly and you learn while doing it. The teacher is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, making the learning process both enjoyable and inspiring. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in traditional decorative techniques.

I am artist with over 30 years experience, who specialises in glass gilding (or Verre Eglomise as it's also known). Using both traditional and modern gilding techniques to create intricate designs in gold, silver and copper leaf, I have been commissioned all over the world to create bespoke pieces - from standalone works of art, to decorative panels or unique pieces of furniture.For the past 4 years, I have been sharing my knowledge of gilding on glass with students who range from absolute beginners to established gilders and artists who wish to take their skills to the next level.It's a joy to share my years of experience in small, intimate classes and watch students fall in love with this beautiful craft.
