We covered many fundamental techniques that make sure your journey into woodworking is on a sound footing. Great confidence building and he got us thinking about doing many things around the house / garden ourselves. Recommended for everyone who wants a good grounding in tools, DIY tips and power tools.

I learnt a lot about the basics of woodworking from essential tools, to fastening types, to wood properties, to the importance of planning and drawing etc. All in all, a great introduction to woodworking and DIY in wood work.

So easy to get to Great teacher, lots of information and enthusiastic. Felt very welcomed and comfortable. I have been doing woodworking projects for some time but have knowledge gaps and I really appreciated all the attention to time and money saving details and theory. Had a go at using power tools and also covered design which is often overlooked in courses. Been designing a desk and was completely stuck before doing this course, now I’ve planned it sourced materials and understand how to fix hinges (new skill)
