Beginner's Rainbow Embroidery Workshop

Looking for some creative things to do in London? Join embroidery artist Katie Wells and pick up some modern embroidery skills.

This colourful craft workshop is a partnership between SoLo Craft Fair and Little Louie café and bar. Together they are bringing incredible embroidery skills to Elephant and Castle. This is a beginner’s class, but if you already have a bit of experience, it’s a great way to brush up on your skills.

You’ll learn all the basic embroidery stitches, from satin and French knot to running, split and lazy daisy. Katie will introduce you to lots of other tips and tricks to get you started and build your confidence. All the supplies are provided, and there are plenty of refreshments for you to purchase at Little Louis café and bar.

We’ll be working on a rainbow embroidered wall hanging in golden autumnal tones. You’ll start your embroidery in the class and finish at home. Or you can finish it at a future workshop at a discounted rate if you’d rather.

This class series runs over 6 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
