What you'll do
Whether you've been grabbing it from the supermarket or you've tried whipping up a few roles of your own at home, this beginner-friendly sushi-making class is the perfect way to indulge in this popular Japanese dish.
This class is for all sushi lovers and complete newbies looking to try something new. Guided by a friendly teacher, Sachiko Saeki, you will learn the traditional techniques of rolling, shaping and filling sushi and plenty of fascinating history.
All of your ingredients and equipment are provided and you'll get plenty of support along the way. You will learn how to make Hoso maki (small maki), Ura maki (inside out maki), Gunkan and Nigiri.
After creating your handmade sushi, you are free to tuck in and savour every bite alongside a complimentary sake or soft drink. Or take it away with you and share it with friends and family at home. You are also welcome to stick around in Soldeli and do some Japanese grocery shopping or just chill out at the sake bar.
