female Women-owned

Founded by mother Monica, Aduane was born from a passion for sharing authentic African flavors and the belief that some of life's best moments happen around the table. Inspired by generations of treasured family recipes, Aduane brings people together through food, storytelling, and shared experiences.
More than a catering and cooking class business, Aduane is a way of preserving and celebrating the recipes, traditions, and hospitality that have been passed down through family for generations. Every dish reflects the warmth, generosity, and sense of community that sit at the heart of African culture.
Growing up in Ghana, Monica learned traditional cooking techniques and family recipes from her mother and relatives, where meals were made with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and a lot of love. Today, she continues that tradition by sharing these cherished recipes and the stories behind them with others.
Through Aduane's hands-on cooking classes, guests are invited into a welcoming environment where they can learn authentic dishes from scratch, discover the cultural significance of ingredients and techniques, and enjoy the experience of cooking and eating together.
Whether you're joining us to explore African cuisine for the first time, reconnect with familiar flavors, or simply enjoy a memorable experience with friends and family, Aduane offers a space to learn, connect, and celebrate through food.
At Aduane, food is more than a meal; it's connection, culture, heritage, and community.
Bringing People Together Through Food.
