In this unique pottery class, you’ll explore the art of creating beautiful vase figures through clay slab building. Learn how to craft, shape, and design your very own flat vase from start to finish, under the expert guidance of our experienced instructor. Discover the techniques of working with clay and unleash your creativity as you bring your vision to life in a tangible form.
Don’t worry if you’re new to pottery – this class is designed for all levels, and our friendly atmosphere will make you feel right at home. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll pick up the skills and gain confidence in your artistic abilities.
Throughout the activity, you’ll work with high-quality materials and tools to ensure a professional finish to your masterpiece. By the end of the class, you’ll have a stunning vase to proudly display in your home, created entirely by you.
Vase size H: 10-18cm
This price includes all the materials, firing, & colour glazing fees. (1 piece)
Important Notes:
Glaze: Due to chemical reactions during firing, glaze results may vary from tests.
Crack & Breakage: Pieces may break or crack during firing due to air bubbles or uneven surfaces. Unfortunately, refunds are not provided for such issues.
Pick-Up: You can collect your pieces approximately 8 weeks after the class. We'll notify you when they're ready. Pieces not collected after 1 months will be discarded.

Blanc Ceramic is a small pottery studio in Park Royal, West London, 10 minutes' walk from North Acton. We teach wheel throwing and hand-building to complete beginners and returning makers, in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Classes are small, the pace is unhurried. Come for an hour, or stay for a course.
Please read:
Glaze: glazes react in the kiln, so your piece can come out a little different from our glaze tests.
Cracks and breakage: a piece can crack or break in firing because of air bubbles in the clay or an uneven surface.
Pieces affected by glaze variation, cracks or breakage are non-refundable.
