Welcome to my art class!

My name is Yuliya, I am a painter with an architectural background. I’ve been teaching art for the last 4 years, children and adults.

My biggest aim is to show you that painting is not that difficult and stressful. I’ll show you how to make art easier, in a few simple steps. Throughout the lesson, we will talk about important aspects of our creative journey, and all technical matters too (mixing colours, composition, etc.) I want to inspire you creating art in a simpler and more joyful way!

My favorite style in painting is impressionism, I studied it with the master of Impressionism. Sometimes I also like to experiment with more abstract techniques, I love to immerse myself in experimenting with textures and colours. Experimenting is the best way of finding your own style or just finding something new and interesting in painting. Nature is my main source of inspiration. Or, to be more precise - the creativity of nature.

I know many different techniques for painting with acrylic and oil, either with brush or palette knife. I also teach academic drawing from scratch, I learned it at the Institute of Architecture. I like to give my students all the knowledge I have so that they can feel more confident in drawing and can continue to practice and improve their skills on their own.

I like to just talk throughout the workshop and create a friendly atmosphere.

I also run all kinds of birthday events, art camps, and art and craft workshops for all ages.
