Whether you're starting with a blank page or refining a dusty draft, this course is designed to help you investigate your writing through a powerful, structured framework that makes storytelling feel approachable and fun.You'll explore the essential 5 Ws – Who, Where, What, When, Why – alongside the 5 Cs of craft, including Character, Context, Conflict, Climax, and Conclusion. Through a mix of lively conversation, role-play, engaging writing games, and thought-provoking prompts, you'll develop deep characters and learn how to build meaningful tension that keeps readers hooked. Our expert tutor, Héléna, creates a supportive, intergenerational space where you can experiment safely and find your flow alongside a community of like-minded emerging writers.Course breakdown:

• Sessions 1 and 2: Character and context – Explore heroes, anti-heroes, and villains while discovering your narrative perspective and genre style through peer feedback.
• Session 3: Conflict and motivation – Dig into why your characters act the way they do by developing backstories and building dramatic stakes.
• Sessions 4 and 5: Climax and conclusion – Navigate story arcs and experiment with different types of endings, from bittersweet resolutions to gripping cliffhangers.
• Session 6: Showcasing and next steps – Share an excerpt of your work in a celebratory environment and plan the future of your creative practice.

By the end of this six-week journey, you'll have gained greater clarity in your creative process and a portfolio of new writing you'll feel truly proud of.
