Transform reclaimed timber offcuts into functional objects.

3.5 hours Class size 6 to 8 guests

£90 - £100 (£90 for Adult; £100 for Adult with concession support) (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

As short days and long nights continue, join us for a warm, hands-on woodworking workshop in London where reclaimed timber becomes the material for handcrafted functional objects or art pieces. Using only hand tools, we’ll guide you through shaping timber offcuts into objects that you can use in your home or gift to others.
Never tried woodworking before? No worries! This session is completely beginner friendly, and you'll receive support every step of the way as you learn how to master the hand tools and craft your chosen project.
What to expect:
  • Two Yes Make team members will be with you throughout the session, providing guidance and assistance!
  • Work on your chosen project such as carved candle holders, incense trays, timber ornaments, small table objects, shelves -- or simply experiment, letting the material lead your creativity!
  • Enjoy calm music, warm drinks and good company!
You'll take away your completed artwork ready to cherish or gift to a loved one, plus a new set of practical skills to use again!
Good to know:
  • If you are interested in making it a full-day experience to create multiple pieces or focus on a larger piece, please contact us in advance of booking, and we can provide a discount for the full day!
  • A small number of concession rate spaces are available for each workshop for students in full-time education, people on Universal Credit, and people aged 65+.
  • Please contact us for more information. If you do not fall into one of these groups but would like to support a concession space, please choose this ticket option.
