Wheel Throwing Workshop - Single Session

Enjoy some beginner friendly throwing at this pottery class in London.

3 hours Class size 5 guests       £60 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join this three-hour pottery throwing workshop in Wimbledon and learn how to use the potter's wheel from scratch. This activity is perfect for anyone curious about clay, as no previous experience is required.
Your expert tutor will guide you through all the basics in a friendly and relaxing environment. With classes capped at five participants, you’ll have your own wheel for the entire session and plenty of personalised support as you learn how to throw your first pots. Experienced potters are also welcome and can receive focused guidance on any techniques or shapes you would like to improve.
The cost of this workshop does not include your finished pots, but you can choose to have your favourite pieces fired and finished in a glossy white glaze for an extra fee of £8 per pot. This process takes approximately eight weeks, and you will need to return to the studio to collect your creations or arrange a courier.
You'll leave the studio feeling inspired by your new skills and ready to continue your pottery practice.
Please note:
  • Please be aware that you will have to return to the workshop to get your finished piece—we're unable to send ceramics in the post. Please allow 8 weeks for this process; your work will need time to dry plus go through our firing process two times.
  • This class is suitable for adults and teens aged 14 and over. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Please be aware that clean-up time begins at least 15 minutes before the end of the session.
