Watercolour Painting Class: in Bloom

Spend a summer evening painting roses in this beginner-friendly watercolour workshop with London-based artist Fan Qiu.Inspired by the colours and movement of summer blooms, IN BLOOM introduces you to the beautiful wet-on-wet watercolour technique – a wonderfully freeing approach that lets colour flow and blend in ways that feel almost effortless. Through guided demonstrations and gentle creative exercises, you'll explore colour blending, soft edges, and flowing brushwork, discovering how simple marks can come together into something genuinely lovely.Fan brings a warm, patient teaching style to everything she does. With an MA from Central Saint Martins and exhibitions at V.O Curations in London and HOFA Gallery in Mykonos, she has a gift for making art feel accessible and enjoyable for beginners and enthusiasts alike.Everything you need is ready and waiting at your table – watercolour paper, paints, brushes, palette, and a practice template sheet.
