I am artist with over 30 years experience, who specialises in glass gilding (or Verre Eglomise as it's also known). Using both traditional and modern gilding techniques to create intricate designs in gold, silver and copper leaf, I have been commissioned all over the world to create bespoke pieces - from standalone works of art, to decorative panels or unique pieces of furniture.For the past 4 years, I have been sharing my knowledge of gilding on glass with students who range from absolute beginners to established gilders and artists who wish to take their skills to the next level.It's a joy to share my years of experience in small, intimate classes and watch students fall in love with this beautiful craft.
