FAQ

Is this suitable for younger kids?
Yes, 5+ with extra support; 7+ recommended. We adapt steps and provide simplified stencils for younger makers.
Do kids need an accompanying adult?
Ages 5–6: Not required. Our team is trained to facilitate this age group without a dedicated supervising adult. However, for parties where most guests are under 7, we recommend that attending parents remain present and available to support quick settling, hand-washing/comfort breaks and small tasks so the activity flows smoothly. Ages 7+: Drop-off is fine for public sessions. For private parties, we ask that at least one host adult stays on site for the duration. Safeguarding: Our educators are DBS-checked and lead the activity; children remain under the responsibility of their parent/guardian.
Can you guarantee my preferred date at your venues?
Our W2 and W6 halls are subject to availability. We’ll request a hold and confirm within 24–48 hours. If the hall isn’t free, we’ll propose nearby dates or we can come to your venue.

Can I change guest numbers after booking? (Important for skateboard stock)
Because we use real wooden skateboard decks, final headcount is due 7 days before your event. Increases within 7 days are subject to stock availability and not guaranteed (a rush stock fee may apply). Reductions are accepted up to 3 business days prior; after that, the committed headcount is charged.
Is it messy?
Low-mess. We use water-based Posca pens and controlled acrylics, bring table/floor covers, and handle clean-up. No spray paint.
Do participants keep the deck?
Yes, each guest takes home their own decorated, full-size wooden skateboard deck. By default, we design for wall display; you can add a wall-mount hook or a glow-paint upgrade. Want to ride it later? If you plan to set it up as a rideable skateboard, please tell us at the start. We’ll guide you to decorate only the underside so the top stays clear for grip tape. We don’t supply or fit trucks, wheels, or grip tape, and we don’t assemble boards, any conversion to a rideable setup is at your own cost and responsibility. Our water-based paints are chosen for studio/display use; for riding you should apply your own durable sealer and expect normal wear. We can’t guarantee paint longevity or performance once ridden.
Can you travel to us?
Yes. We need suitable tables/chairs, good lighting and access to water. We’ll advise on a tidy, mess-controlled set-up.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We recommend 21–30 days’ notice to secure hall & stock. Reschedules are subject to venue availability. Final headcount locks 7 days before; reductions allowed up to 3 business days prior. Late increases are subject to stock (rush fee may apply).
How far do you travel and is there a travel fee?
Our base studio is in Westbourne Park (W2). We travel up to 5 miles as standard. 0–2 miles: no travel fee 2–5 miles: travel fee applies Beyond 5 miles: available by quote (extra charge) Parking, Congestion/ULEZ and waiting time are charged at cost.
