What you'll do

During our hands-on and interactive three-hour Vietnamese Cuisine Masterclass, you'll delve into a world of essential cooking techniques and skills, crafting mouthwatering dishes bursting with flavour.

Menu:

Hanoi Fried Fish with Turmeric and Dill (Chả Cá Lã Vọng), served with rice noodles and fermented shrimp sauce (Mắm Tôm)
Crispy Rice Flour Crepes filled with Pork Belly and Crab Meat (Bánh Xèo), served with aromatic herbs
Nước chấm dipping sauce -- Tangy and savoury Vietnamese condiment, perfect for adding zing to dishes with its blend of fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, garlic, and chilli
Shaking Beef (Bò lúc lắc) -- Tender cubes of beef wok-tossed with garlic, onions, and soy sauce, delivering a savoury and flavourful Vietnamese dish

The class will be led by a Head Chef and Assistant Chef, and class sizes typically range from 6-12 students. This class is suitable for all levels of experience, from seasoned chefs to total beginners. We are here to help you become more confident in your skills and learn new techniques to impress your family and friends.

What you'll learn:

Knife skills: Develop proficiency in cutting, slicing, and chopping techniques using a Chinese cleaver, fundamental skills in Vietnamese cuisine.
Wok cooking techniques: Acquire the skills to create delectable stir-fry dishes using a wok, unlocking the art of balancing heat and flavours.
Make the popular crispy rice flour crepes (Bánh Xèo) from scratch, from creating the batter to achieving the perfect crispiness on the pan. Fill them with succulent pork belly and crab meat for a burst of flavour.
Vietnamese seasoning: Discover the traditional herbs and spices used in Vietnamese cooking and gain the knowledge to season your dishes authentically.
