In this textiles printing class, you will learn the fascinating technique of Cyanotype photography, a camera-less process that results in stunning blue and white images. Using plants, letters, and various objects, you'll create unique botanical designs on a one-of-a-kind tote bag and 2 A4 prints to take home.
Don't worry if you're new to this - the class is designed for beginners, and you'll be guided through each step. You'll be amazed at the beautiful creations you'll make using just the sun's UV light and water.
During the workshop, you'll work with iron salts and paper to create your designs, which will evoke a sense of creativity and wonder as you watch them develop. The class will be an engaging and hands-on experience, allowing you to explore your artistic side in a relaxed and supportive environment.
By the end of the session, you'll walk away with a personalised tote bag and prints that showcase your artistic flair. This activity will not only teach you a new skill but also leave you with tangible and unique pieces to cherish.

House of Denna is a cafe in South East London owned by Denna.
A silversmith by trade, she wanted to open a cosy venue where people could come and take part in a variety of workshops while drinking a coffee and enjoying a slice of cake.
As this is a cafe, we ask you not to bring in external food and drink.
