Join this weaving workshop in London, held exclusively at Two Temple Place as part of the Celebration of Makers via the Crafty Fox Experience Market.
Using a preset heddle frame loom, you'll be guided through weaving a strong, warp-faced strap in a relaxed, supported session. Please choose two warp (vertical yarn) colours after booking by sending us a message – see the colour chart pictured. You'll then pick your weft (horizontal yarn) colour on the day.
You'll take home a finished handwoven wrist strap, fitted with a swivel clasp and your choice of keyring or phone case attachment – a functional, one-of-a-kind woven accessory made for everyday use. All materials are provided, the workshop is suitable for beginners, and there's plenty of support on hand throughout.
Colour tip: For the most striking effect, choose two contrasting warp colours. Combinations shown in the photos include:
  • Red and rose
  • Natural and cornflower
  • Teal and emerald
  • Navy and soft mint
Make a day of it: Before or after the workshop, take some time to explore the wider Celebration of Makers festival, including the Crafty Fox Market – with independent makers, live demonstrations and interactive activities to enjoy.

I created Weavers Works as a space where people can slow down and enjoy the art of weaving. I find comfort in the steady rhythm of working with my hands and in the meditative process of creating something from start to finish.
My weaving journey began during my textile design degree at Central Saint Martins. I've taught weaving classes at the Handweavers Studio for the past decade and when the studio announced its move to Dorset, it left a void in the community. That moment and with the enthusiasm of the community, encouraged me to start Weavers Works and continue providing a workshop space for weavers in London and beyond.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing how people develop as they learn. Watching students gain confidence, ask questions, and explore new ideas brings a lot of satisfaction. My classes are calm, supportive, and hands on. Whether you are completely new to weaving or looking to deepen your skills, my aim is to create a welcoming space where you can learn, explore, and enjoy the process.
