Twist and Braid Silver - Jewellery Making Workshop

This fun in-person jewellery making course is held in Camden Town, London NW1. You'll get to learn a new skill while having fun and leave with your bespoke creations.Whether you're a complete beginner or a craftsperson/jeweller already working with metals, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to create bangles, cuffs, rings, and more by learning ways to create decorative wire twists and braids, to get creative and expand their range of craft skills.This course (and all my courses) is designed for adults. I do not currently offer classes for children and teenagers.During the day, you will learn how to work with wire - how to create a range of different patterns of twists and braids using the wire, then how to transform your braids into finished jewellery, joining with soldering, adding (and possibly making) end caps and beautifully finishing the jewellery ready to wear.Learn how to prepare and braid silver and copper wires in different ways and experiment with ways to transform a braided section into jewellery. Create your choice of bangle/rings or use the decorative braided wire however else you choose.This course is a full day from 10am to 5pm, in Camden, London NW1, starting on your selected date.Don't worry if you're new to jewellery making - this class is designed to alleviate any fears and provide a supportive environment for everyone, with or without previous experience. With a small group size of just 3 students, your experienced instructor will guide you through the process, ensuring you feel confident every step of the way and you get plenty of individual attention.All the materials you need will be provided, so simply come along and enjoy the creativity. As you experiment with twists and patterns, you'll experience the satisfaction of seeing your designs come to life. By the end of the class, you'll have at least one (probably more) beautifully finished silver bangle or other jewel ready to wear.The workshop space is downstairs, so unfortunately, it is difficult to access for anyone with mobility problems - apologies for any inconvenience. Have fun and leave with a series of samples and test pieces, as well as one completed piece of solid silver jewellery, to your own design, ready to use or to gift.Drinks and snacks are available throughout, and you will also get detailed printed (or emailed) notes to remind you of the processes we've covered.
