Your host
Hiver began in 2013, when our founder Hannah went along to a honey tasting in Bermondsey. She offered to help out, and before she knew it she was standing on the roof of Tate Britain, inspecting a beehive. With a frame of bees in her hands and the whole of London spread out below, she knew she wanted to do it again. She threw herself into learning everything she could about bees and beekeeping. She already worked in brewing, so she started tasting honey beers along the way, and that's how the idea for Hiver was born. Our tastings and experiences share that same curiosity, bringing together great beer, honey and the story of the bees behind them.
