I’m Susan Nguyen, Managing Director of The Nail Group in London, and I’ve worked in the nail industry for over 22 years. I started with a love for creativity, but quickly became passionate about the skill, care, and confidence a great manicure can bring. A pivotal moment for me was realising that nail services aren’t just about aesthetics - they’re about transformation and self-expression.I love teaching because I enjoy helping people build confidence through understanding the foundations, not just following steps. Seeing someone go from unsure to capable is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.Many people don’t realise how technical a gel manicure really is - from preparation and product knowledge to hygiene and structure. When these elements come together, the results are both beautiful and long-lasting.Through The Nail Group, I’ve spent years mentoring technicians, delivering training, and building a salon recognised within the industry, including winning Salon of the Year 2025. My teaching is grounded in real salon experience, making it practical, honest, and easy to follow.Whether you’re learning as a hobby or exploring a future in nails, my goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and proud of what you create.
