I’m Susan Nguyen, Managing Director of The Nail Group in London, and I’ve worked in the nail industry for over 22 years. I started with a love for creativity, but quickly became passionate about the skill, care, and confidence a great manicure can bring. A pivotal moment for me was realising that nail services aren’t just about aesthetics - they’re about transformation and self-expression.

I love teaching because I enjoy helping people build confidence through understanding the foundations, not just following steps. Seeing someone go from unsure to capable is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Many people don’t realise how technical a gel manicure really is - from preparation and product knowledge to hygiene and structure. When these elements come together, the results are both beautiful and long-lasting.

Through The Nail Group, I’ve spent years mentoring technicians, delivering training, and building a salon recognised within the industry, including winning Salon of the Year 2025. My teaching is grounded in real salon experience, making it practical, honest, and easy to follow.
