Hi, I’m Hannah, founder of Atlas Handpans and the London Handpan School. Since the beginning of 2019, I’ve been living, working, and building handpans in Hackney, London, and I’m incredibly passionate about creating, playing, and teaching this beautiful instrument.

As London’s only handpan maker, I’ve always found the craft to be deeply fulfilling but sometimes solitary. After the lockdown, I started teaching one-to-one lessons and rediscovered my joy for playing and sharing the instrument with others. This inspired my dream of teaching larger groups and building a vibrant handpan community in London.

My workshops focus on simple techniques, melodies, harmonies, and rhythms, helping you create your own music on the handpan. These sessions range from one-to-one lessons to group courses, weekend intensives, and community jams. All of my instruments are also available for purchase through Atlas Handpans or by contacting me directly.
