Terrarium Making Workshop

Create a closed terrarium with plant experts in the middle of a plant shop!

2 hours Class size 1 to 10 (public classes), 6 to 20 label £65

If you've ever admired a terrarium in a homeware shop or on social media, why not learn how to make your own? Come join your hosts at their cosy plant shop for a fun and friendly terrarium making workshop! In this workshop, you'll learn how to create your own mini ecosystem inside a closed glass container.

You'll start off with a brief introduction to the history and science behind terrariums, as well as the different types of plants that can be used in them. Then, your instructor will guide you through the steps of preparing the soil and plants, and arranging them in a visually appealing way.

Throughout the workshop, you'll have the chance to ask questions and get personalised guidance from your instructor. By the end, you'll have a unique and beautiful terrarium that you can take home and care for. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature and create a living work of art.

There is a welcome drink included and water is available all throughout the workshop. We also have additional cold drinks available for purchase.

Ivy and the Wolf started by Sanne, a plant-enthusiast from the Netherlands.
Starting as an online business in 2019, we opened our first brick and mortar store in the heart of Crystal Palace London during the pandemic.

We are an indoor plant shop with a large range of tropical plants, cacti and succulents, but also a large selection of interesting pots, homewares and accessories.

We have a particular love for unusual and unconventional plants so you will most likely find something you have never seen before!

Having previously worked as a workshop host, owner Sanne wanted to combine her plant-knowledge with her love for teaching, and that's how we started hosting workshops in the shop.

Sanne loves to share her knowledge and can answer pretty much any question you might have.

And besides all that, the workshops take place right in the middle of the shop and cafe with the best atmosphere!

Please check out our online reviews and feel free to pop by the shop in case you have any questions
