Step into a Mongolian yurt in the heart of Notting Hill and discover the magic of the Japanese tea ceremony in this immersive experience with Tomono. You'll be dressed in a traditional kimono and guided through the ancient art of preparing your own matcha tea, as Tomono shares her knowledge and answers any questions along the way – all the equipment you need is provided, so there's nothing to bring but your curiosity.
You'll be welcomed with a glass of premium sake to set the mood before the ceremony begins, and once your matcha is made, the experience continues with a chocolate tasting led by Andrew, who'll walk you through the fascinating history behind some of the best chocolate in the world. It's a wonderfully sensory afternoon that blends ritual, flavour and storytelling in one of London's most unique settings.
This 75-minute experience is suitable for ages 12 and up, making it a lovely one to share with family or friends looking for something a little different.

Melt Chocolates was founded in 2005 by Louise Nason, guided by a simple principle: the pursuit of health and happiness for her family and community. The name "Melt" came to her at the River Café in London, capturing how chocolate should dissolve silkily at body temperature, releasing over 400 complex flavour notes.
Louise's ethos has always been: get the best raw ingredients, never compromise, and ensure everything is fresh. Today, that same philosophy is carried forward by Melt's top chocolatiers, who are now dedicated to teaching others what truly good chocolate should taste like, and how to make it.
