What you'll do
If you're looking for ways to broaden your culinary horizons and learn something new, this virtual cooking class is a brilliant way to treat your taste buds to the best of Scotland.
Led by a Scottish chef, you will learn how to cook a show-stopper aged ribeye dish with accompaniments, ideal for a romantic dinner for two or a truly impressive dinner party. All the ingredients you'll need will be delivered right to your door, so all you'll need to do is enjoy the fun part: cooking and learning at home!
In the comfort of your own kitchen, you’ll cook alongside your friendly chef host as they guide you through the recipes step-by-step, whilst sharing their cooking tips, stories and answering your questions.
During the class, you'll make:
- Bone-In Ribeye - The bone-in cooking method allows this premium cut of ribeye to retain maximum flavour, making the steak juicy, succulent, and the ultimate crowd pleaser.
- Boulangère Potatoes - This Moorish recipe is made up of layers of creamy potatoes and caramelised onions, slow cooked in a flavoursome veal stock for a decadent side dish.
Scottish Whisky Peppercorn Sauce - A luxurious sauce made by layering red wine, port, veal stock, green peppercorns and Scotch whisky. The homemade sauce is finished with a dash of cream for the perfect texture to complement the rich cuts of meat.
