£45 - £50 (£50 per guest when you book for 1 guest, £45/guest for 2+ guests) (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Spend an afternoon exploring colour and mindfulness in Covent Garden, combining a guided colour hunt with a matcha workshop at Fujifilm House of Photography. This exclusive one-off experience is limited to just 10 people per session, happening on the 11th of July with morning and afternoon options available.
You'll begin with a guided colour hunt through the vibrant streets of Covent Garden with Melody, founder of Meet You For Matcha. As you walk, you'll learn to notice tones, textures, and unexpected palettes hidden in everyday details – training your eye to see the world differently. It's a gentle way to spark creativity and connect with your surroundings.
Back at Fujifilm House of Photography, you'll move into the matcha workshop with Haru Matcha. You'll learn how to prepare matcha properly, understand whisking techniques, and develop an appreciation for the flavours. This part is all about slowing down and being present – taking time to savour something simple and beautiful.
Then the group gathers to share the photos you've captured during the walk and discuss the different perspectives everyone noticed. It's a low-pressure way to spark conversation, see what others saw, and connect with people who share your love of art and tea.
By the end of the afternoon, you'll leave with a gallery of beautiful images on your device, a newfound appreciation for the hidden details in your everyday surroundings, and a sense of being completely revitalised. It's the kind of experience that stays with you.

Our Story
I have loved matcha for a long time, originally from Thailand, when I was in Japan I studied tea ceremonies from tea masters. Since moving to the UK I discovered that despite being a rising trend people were not appreciating the rich history and philosophy behind matcha. That is why we started creating matcha tasting experiences for the UK public to enjoy. The experiences are similar to what you would find in a wine tasting session. We take participants through the history and philosophy of matcha before demonstrating that matcha is a nuanced and refined product with different varieties coming from different regions of Japan. Guests get the chance to try different matcha, pair with wagashi as well as prepare their own matcha in the traditional way. It is a great experience for understanding all the senses when tasting a refined quality product and learning about the history and variety of matcha.
Why We Love Teaching
Teaching matcha tasting is about more than just sharing knowledge — it’s about creating moments of calm, connection, and curiosity. There’s something truly rewarding about watching someone whisk their first bowl of matcha, or discovering the difference between different cultivated varieties. These experiences bring people together, slow time down for a little while, and spark meaningful conversations.
Something many people might not realise is that traditional matcha ceremonies aren’t just about the drink — they reflect centuries of philosophy centred around concepts like harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility. Every movement, every utensil, and every sip has meaning. We’re passionate about honouring that, while also making it approachable and welcoming for modern audiences.
