If you're looking for productive things to do at home, or a new hobby, with this online class you will learn how to carve your own stamp. You will learn how to block print in the comfort of your own home!
As far as DIY Crafts go, stamp carving is fun, easy and relaxing! It's known to be meditative and great for de-stressing. You'll likely come away from this online class feeling inspired and keen to continue stamp carving in your downtime.
In this live streaming class, you will learn:
- Basic stamp design principles
- Positive vs negative space
- How to transfer your design from your paper to rubber
- How to safely carve a stamp
- Different ways in which you can use your stamps
- Inking and printing tips and tricks
No experience is required as your expert teacher Little Rowan Redhead will guide you step by step through the process. You'll be a pro in no time!
At the end of the virtual class, you will have carved your own stamps and know all the tips and tricks for inking and printing!
If you don't know what to do this weekend and want to expand your list of indoor activities at home; whether you're in Bristol, Manchester or Edinburgh, this online class can be streamed anywhere in the UK!

- Plain copy paper (plus graph paper if you have any)

- A spoon
- Soft-carve rubber (lino is ok but not preferred as it is not great for block printing. This is available in art stores/some online craft stores)
