Hi, I'm Deborah and I run 'Make a Masterpiece' which sets up painting and craft events in the south east. I originally studied at Leeds Metropolitan University and later the Berkshire College of Art and Design and have worked as an Illustrator and Designer for many years. My clients have included RHS, National Trust, Natural History Museum, Chatsworth House and Dunoon Mugs.
Whilst developing a range of paint-by-numbers kits, an interest in making art accessible to those without specific training grew. This led to the creation of ‘Make a Masterpiece’, translating beautiful landscapes and wildlife designs into easy to achieve guided painting and craft events for adults and children. People are genuinely surprised and delighted at what they have achieved, surpassing their expectations. I also do private/corporate events.
Being a professional Illustrator and Designer has enabled me to develop a range of easy to achieve, rewarding artworks and to have an understanding of current trends/popular themes.
I also paint murals to transform indoor and outdoor spaces and there is a link on my website to these.
