Spinning Ring Workshop

Give this three-hour silversmithing workshop a try, where you'll be guided through the stages of making a fun spinning ring from silver and copper, all in the comfort of your own home.You'll have a choice of silver and copper wire, and your teacher will guide you through the processes needed to make your spinning ring. You will learn to anneal and texture metal, measure and saw the right amount, shape and form, create a neat join and solder, sand, and finish your work.Everything you need will be brought to your home by your tutor, and they'll be on hand throughout the class to give you tips and advice to make sure your rings turn out the best they can be.You'll leave with a whole host of nifty new skills under your belt, along with your amazing handmade ring.The workshop will take about 3 hours, with a 20/30 mins set up and pack up either side.
