Join me, Jean-Marc, for a Speed Speaking session, designed to help you build confidence and connect authentically with others. This is a fantastic workshop for anyone looking to improve their communication skills in a dynamic, low-pressure setting.People with a spiritual mindset will feel especially at home. Everyone is welcome. I often insist: this is energy work. The suggested topics are fun or deep and meaningful, but they are but pretexts. What matters is how we deliver. In our sessions, we focus on speaking for very short times – starting with just 15 seconds and building up to one or two minutes. We keep the pace quick and move swiftly from one speaker to the next, which creates a truly delightful and engaging experience. You are free to take part as a speaker or simply relax and enjoy the session as a listener.While this activity is a great way to train your speaking skills, its essential value lies in learning how to connect with other people on the best possible wavelength.We hold this activity in the friendly setting of a pub. After the session, there's always time for a relaxed chat. As the venue kindly provides the space for free, showing our appreciation by purchasing a drink or a snack is always encouraged.You will leave feeling energised and more confident in your ability to communicate. I am storyteller. (Storytelling is a performing art) When I came to London in 2008 I joined a Toastmaster Club to train talking to audiences in English. I created my own brand of public speaking workshops which I called 'Speed Public Speaking'. Recently I remember how much I loved the atmosphere of the sessions I led. More than confidence building and public speaking, we were sharing our humanity in a more authentic way than happens in ordinary settings. I re created a meetup called speed speaking. Back in time. I was a storyteller. One day I decided to become an astrologer. Both storytelling and astrology make a wide use of symbols and metaphors. Both are arts of communication. I only speak occasionally about this in the speed speaking sessions. Everyone is welcome, and people with a spiritual mindset who wish to share will feel comfortable.
