What you'll do
In this workshop, you will learn how to create stunning pieces using a natural sustainable method. Using soy wax and fabric paints, you will discover the art of wax resist dyeing to produce beautifully coloured fabrics. Whether you choose to use the wax and colours in intricate patterns or bold solid hues, you will create a piece that is not only visually appealing but also machine washable, suitable for framing, wall hanging, or incorporating into clothing or cushions.
Choose from:
- A3 size and practice batik
- A4 size and practice batik plus a soy wax candle with aromatherapy oil
Don't worry if you're new to this art form - this workshop is designed for beginners, and you will receive step-by-step guidance throughout the session. You'll be working with soy wax and fabric paints to explore the fusion of colours and patterns, allowing your creativity to flow in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
