What you'll do
Looking for unique things to do this weekend around Marlow or the Buckinghamshire area? Try your hand at candle making and craft your own natural handmade candles.
Learning how to make your own candles means no more buying expensive and un-environmentally-friendly candles! You'll be in control of exactly what goes into your candle and will able to choose the perfect aromas to suit your preferences.
This candle-making workshop is ideal for making handmade and unique Christmas gifts and makes for the perfect Christmas activity to gather friends or family together. Or, if you're looking to reward your team with some destressing team building activities, this hands-on workshop makes the perfect team building event!
At this beginner-friendly workshop, you will be taught over the course of three hours all about the different types of candles that are sold in the UK, the types of wax, dyes and fragrances!
Choose from a range of fragrances and dyes to personalise yours and take your finished candles home with you at the end! You will also take home a copy of our step-by-step course notes so you can continue to practise candle making at home.
Please note: the type of candle you will make will change depending on the time of year you take the class.

Candle by Events is The Candle-making Experience Company based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
Founded in 2008 by Sarah Ditchfield, the business started off producing candles for shops, hotels and restaurants. In 2012 we built our candle-making studio and began running open workshops for beginners plus themed candle-making events around Easter, Christmas and other celebrations. We also run children parties, family fun days, hen parties and corporate team building events - all around candle-making.
Besides in-person workshops we run online courses - our beginner's online workshop provides all the equipment, materials and guidance you need to make lots of fabulous and delicious smelling candles at home!
