Discover the charm of Southern Italy in this hands-on pasta workshop with Italian chef Luca. In this immersive cooking class, you’ll learn to make not just one, but three authentic and traditional pasta shapes from the southern regions of Italy: orecchiette, cavatelli, and fusilli.
Don't worry if you're a beginner -- you'll be guided step by step and master the techniques behind these rustic, hand-rolled shapes, each carrying centuries of culinary tradition. Along the way, Luca will share stories, tips, and cultural insights about pasta’s history in Southern Italy and the role it plays in family kitchens and celebrations.
What to expect:
  • A welcome aperitivo with antipasti and a drink will be served on arrival.
  • Once the pasta is ready, you’ll enjoy pairing each shape with a delicious, freshly prepared sauce.
  • Orecchiette will be served with a silky broccoli cream, cavatelli with a rich and comforting tomato sauce and parmesan cheese, and fusilli with an aromatic basil pesto.
  • Afterwards, you’ll receive a PDF of the recipes to recreate at home.
You’ll leave not only with new cooking skills but also with the joy of having crafted three different types of pasta with your own hands -- and of course, the memory of sharing them around the table with a glass of prosecco wine and good company.

I started Cook with Luca because I wanted to share the joy of making traditional Italian soul food from scratch.
The aim of my pasta workshops is simple: to help you relax, enjoy yourself, and connect with others while sharing ideas, cooking tips, and a glass of wine over a delicious meal.
My classes are not only about cooking — they’re an opportunity to learn new skills, deepen your knowledge of Italian culture, and socialise with like-minded food lovers. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling more confident in the kitchen, ready to invite friends and family over and impress them with your homemade dishes.
