Solera LDN is the best silver lining.

While I've always been a serial crafter (crocheting since I was 8, at one point a trier of silversmithing, pottery... you name it), I never really considered myself especially creative.

Cue in 2022, when a life-changing diagnosis of Young Onset Parkinson's Disease eventually led me to embrace my creativity, and I haven't stopped since.

Solera in the material sense is jewellery, stationery and home trinkets, made prioritizing recycled or repurposed materials.

With a distinct style that is colourful, floral, quirky and optimistic... it is a reflection of the therapeutic effect making has on me. That is why I call them "Items of Joy" and that is why in the metaphorical sense, it is the best silver lining.

Having honed my skills in using the copper foiling technique to make broken china jewellery, as well as teaching myself macrame to make fun plant hangers, I am now ready to share the fun of these two crafts.
