What you'll do
Join your friendly teacher Greg Howard for a pastels workshop where you can learn how to create atmospheric landscapes with confidence.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, these techniques in soft pastels are accessible to everyone with a little practice. Bring along your usual paints and brushes and jump into the creative fun with no special equipment.
For a fully convenient experience, a small range of materials will be available for you to purchase from your teacher. Plus, some refreshments will be provided for free throughout the day including tea, coffee and tasty biscuits.
An information pack with everything you can expect to learn, details of your full-day class and directions to the venue will be sent out a week or two before the workshop. If you have any questions, feel free to message your teacher.

Although this class is aimed at people with some experience in pastels it is also beginner-friendly.

Hiya I'm Greg and I have worked (if you could call it that) as a professional artist for over a decade now. Over that time in addition to selling my work I have done 100's of demonstrations and workshops for art clubs and societies up and down the U.K. I have also managed to create a growing selection of online watercolour tuition videos and courses designed to help you get to grips with this wonderful but sometimes frustrating medium.

I show people like you how to get your head out of the way and how to ditch all that ‘traditional is the only way’ crap (can I say that, oh I just did oops!) and then I show you how you can take your paintings to the next level very, very quickly!
